Marketing
We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising. You will always be able to unsubscribe, unfollow or opt out of marketing information.

Newsletters
We send newsletters to customers and individuals who have given us permission to contact them. We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you. 9. Use of Cookies and Other Third-Party Processors or Technologies

The Use of Cookies

In common with many other website operators, our website uses cookies to identify your computer and recognise you from other users to improve your experience.

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies enable us to understand who has seen which pages and advertisements, to determine how frequently particular pages are visited and to determine the most popular areas of our website.

Our cookies also enable us to enhance your visitor experience by storing information about the products and services that you select between visits so that we can provide you with focused information each time you visit our website.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this website may become inaccessible or not function properly.

Our cookies do not store any sensitive information such as your name, address, contact information or payment details. Some cookies collect information about browsing and purchasing behaviour when you access this website via the same computer or device.  This includes information about pages viewed, products purchased and your journey around a website.

Google Analytics

When someone visits tarajanecoaching.co.uk we use the Google Analytics service, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing List

As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons: to tell you about things you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, Kajabi, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings and marketing or newsletter emails at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at [email protected].

Facebook and Meta Ads (conversion tracking Facebook pixel)

This website uses the Facebook pixel, a small piece of JavaScript code, that is added to the website to help us optimise our Facebook and Meta ads, report on the success of advertising campaigns across devices and target ads to the audience.

The pixel sends information about your browsing session through HTTP headers to Facebook, including the IP address, information about the web browser, page location, document, referrer and web browser user agent.

Pixel-specific data includes pixel ID and Facebook cookie data to connect the events to a specific Facebook ad account and to make a match to a person known by Facebook. Facebook checks whether the person has previously seen or interacted with an ad from our account or if the person matches an audience rule and prepares an analytics report, which contains anonymized or aggregated data.

Facebook keeps the information collected from the pixels for 180 days and stores the data collected in its production data centres in the US and in Sweden.

Facebook supports the DAA’s AdChoices to opt out of behavioural advertising and you can check the corresponding settings at http://optout.aboutads.info to opt out from the Facebook pixel. You can also learn more about why you are seeing an ad through Facebook’s AdsPreferences.

10. Change of Purpose regarding Personal Information

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which either obliges or permits us to do so. Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.

11. Data Retention and How Long Personal Information is Held by Us

Tara Jane Coaching will retain information for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfil the purposes that we describe in this policy. We hold personal information as set out above on file to tailor our marketing efforts until such time as this is no longer needed, or a request is made for this information to be deleted.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

In some circumstances you can ask us to delete your data. Please contact us on the below details for more information.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
